Incense Extrême

$4.00

Launched in 2007 by Tauer Perfumes, self-taught nose Andy Tauer has created one of my most favourite incense fragrances with Incense Extrême.

On the Tauer website Incense Extrême is described as: Minimalist, intense, clear.  A perfume built around a natural CO2 extract of Boswellia serrata, aka incense; it captures the roughness of the climate of the semi desert where Boswellia trees thrives. It is translucent like the first whiff of incense smoke from Boswellia resin on red gleaming coal. Yet, it is crisp like a night in the desert.

Eau d'Épices

$4.00

Launched in 2010 by Andy Tauer, Eau d'Épices is described on his website as “An Indian basket of spices with cinnamon, cardamom, clove and corriander with red mandarines.” It’s that but so much more.

It opens with warm cinnamon bark and anisic cardamom joined by clove and coriander. The clove has a medicinal aspect to it that adds a coolness to the scent. Red mandarins add a citrus note that tempers the spices perfectly making them soft and subtle.
