I am a fan of Marc Antoine Corticchiato's line Parfum d'Empire and especially of Fougere Bengal. This EDP was designed to evoke the spirit of Bengalese tiger hunts way back in the day. The opening has lavender, leather and tobacco to represent the hunters, a note of hay to give it a sense of place and animalic notes suggest tigers. While ginger, patchouli and tonka bean add a sensuous exoticism to the scent.
This is a deep, rich sexy scent. I wear it often, not just when I'm on the hunt.
