Mandarina Corsica – warm summer nights and the smell of candied mandarins and immortelle

I have a very dear friend who lives in London. We don’t see each other as often as we’d like, and travel plans to meet up this summer have fallen through, so we came up with the idea to take ‘Scented Vacation’ together.

Fleurs de Citronnier – delicate and floral and fresh

Lemon flower and fruit

Fathom V – green and greener and greenest

I was scouring my favourite food writers for inspiration for a Sunday dinner when I came across this preamble for recipes by food writer Nigel Slater in The Guardian:

Amara – warm and woody and uplifting

Marescialla – unique and evocative and enticing

Bruvuvu – woody and cozy and evocative

Santal 33 – woody and floral and leathery

Psychédélique - dark and smoky and ambered patchouli

It's winter where I am but, I'm ready for it since I brought my favourite cold weather fragrances to the front of the shelf at the end of autumn. Now, by the middle of winter, I notice that the fragrance I've been wearing most is Psychédélique from Parsian niche house Jovoy Parfumeur Parisien.
