The first time I smelled this EdP, I was expecting to experience a nice delicious dose of cedar. That’s not what I got. What I got was something waaaaay better.

A camphor/menthol note at the start reminded me of Tubéreuse Criminelle. That soon passed, allowing rich, fleshy tuberose to appear in front of a dry, woody cedar backdrop. The cedar does the job of balancing the tuberose so it doesn’t get too heavy. The tuberorse mutes the hard edges of the cedar. Clove and cinnamon add a warm spicy sweetness. On me, this scent never gets too sweet. Amber and musk at the base gives it a resinous, powdery finish.

Beware the name though – this is more tuberose than cedar.
