Mimosa Pour Moi was created by Anne Flipo in 1992 for L'Artisan Parfumeur and was inspired by the mimosa that grows in Côte d’Azur in winter.

On me, it opens with a bright and effervescent note of mimosa. As the effervescence recedes, the nature of the flower reveals itself. I get whiffs of its fresh, green, watery cucumber aspect. It links to the cucumber aspect of violet leaves. Stems and green leaves intensify the green, herbaceousness. The mimosa blooms on warm skin, and as the botanicals quieten and they allow the delicate, powdery, sweet scent of violet to emerge. Tender and trembling, it counterbalances the herbaceousness. A note of black currant bud is fruity, green, subtly floral and a little woody. It brings it all together, resting on a base of sweet, creamy, warm vanilla and woody cedarwood that grounds this delicate, softly sweet fragrance.

Mimosa Pour Moi dries down bright, airy and romantic. There’s no dirt, no harshness, no sharpness in it. This ethereal interpretation of mimosa celebrates its puffy yellow blooms, green leaves, and stems rather than its heavier aspects. It is the uplifting scent of spring that seduces with its innocence.
