Fragrance family: Floral Woody Musk
Gender: For women and men
Concentration: Eau de Parfum (EDP)
Perfumer: Daniela (Roche) Andrier
Launched in 2010 (Untitled) is the debut scent from Belgian fashion designer Maison Martin Margiela. The fragrance is a deep dark, sensuous stunner.
A bitter green opening gives way to an animalic/ floral note of jasmine that is a little dirty and not too sweet. Incense and cedar at the base give it a woody resinous drydown, while musk adds a sensuous softness that rounds out all the other elements.
Not a cool, clean floral as you might expect from such a green scent; instead, it's warm and dirty and delicious.
Notes: galbanum, box green, bigaradier, jasmine, incense, cedar, musk.
