L’Wren Scott was created by Ralf Schwieger in 2012, for a collaboration between American designer L’Wren Scott and retailer Barney's New York

On me, it opens with a fresh, green, herbaceous, slightly spicy note of absinthe. It connects to the spicy, warm, licorice-like aspect of star anise. Together, they create a sense of mystery that arouses curiosity. They are joined by an aromatic note of fresh, citrusy, and spicy coriander, which adds complexity to the blend. Sweet, juicy Mandarin orange adds vibrancy to the spices, while a note of marigold, fruity, green-tinged and earthy, leads to a floral heart of rich, creamy, tuberose, heady, sensual jasmine and fresh, green and earthy geranium. The flowers are subdued, sitting in the background, never dominating. They give L’Wren Scott a brush of melancholy. The flowers are followed by spicy curry tree leaves, which add a fresh bite to the heart. Clove buds, spicy and slightly sweet, keep the spicy warmth humming. The base is green, earthy and woody from patchouli and moss, sexy from a note of leather, warm and sensual from musk and amber.

It dries down warm, spicy, earthy, exotic and sophisticated. No one note dominates; instead, each note is part of the mix that makes L’Wren Scott so enticing, for a man or a woman. "I play to the sensual and sexy side," she told WWD of the scent.
