Country of origin: France
Launched: 2004
Description from the website: The Hermessence Poivre Samarcande is inspired by one of perfumer Jean-Claude Ellena's memories: "An oak tree used to grow in front of my house. Eventually, it had to be felled. The peppery, musky and slightly smoky scent of the cut wood became etched in my memory."
Olfactory notes (according to the website): Green pepper, chilli pepper, oak wood, moss and patchouli.
